Introduction

Utilizing people data to a whole new level to generate insights and predictions. With the emergence of large amounts of people data, we are looking at new and innovative ways to make a difference to society as a whole by understanding personalities, mental health, consumer feedback, population sentiments and organizational / industrial psychology.

Key Responsibilities

As a Personality-focused Psychologist, you will work together with our Data Scientist to create non-conventional personality assessments and feedback assessments for individuals, corporations and our platform.

  • Conduct experiments, analytics, and compute behavioural process models for a deep dive understanding of systemic and individual level drivers
  • Combine quantitative and qualitative data to inform research
  • Manage full life cycle of research programs (Develop strategy, gather requirements, manage and execute)

You will use both quantitative and qualitative data as well as conduct research studies to test your hypotheses. You will use a variety of statistical approaches to model and understand behaviour. You will develop algorithms and thresholds to surface personalized results to our clients, and partner with machine learning scientists to build these statistical models into production that scales. You will work with an interdisciplinary team of psychologists, ML scientists, UI/UX designers, engineers, and product managers to inform and build product features to surface deeper people and business insights for platform users and clients.

Requirements
  • Master’s degree or PhD in Org./IO Psychology, Personality/Social Psychology, Sociology, Experimental Psychology, Statistics, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience conducting large-scale applied research studies
  • Experience analysing experimental research data as well as big data from surveys and archival data
  • Advanced Statistics
  • Proficiency in at least one statistics program or programming language (SPSS, R, Python)
  • Experience using and researching with single-item measures
  • Some product management experience is a plus
  • Highly adaptable, creative, and thrives in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and program management skills
  • 3-5 years of experience conducting large-scale applied research studies
  • Experience writing and communicating technical information for non-technical audience
  • Domain expertise in researching work-related behaviour
  • Experience providing thought leadership and consultation
